Islands in Vietnam

Hiya 안녕 您好 こんにちは !

(Hiya Annyon Nihao Konnichiwa)

About 4 hours by bus from the town of Hanoi.
And then, about 40 minutes from by boat to see the caves and rocks, small islands.

All established as a world cultural and natural world heritage cite,
it is one of the most popular tourist spots in Vietnam.

The symbol is the Cock islands.
Two cocks facing towards each other, right the male, and left, the female with its egg (that’s why its bigger than the right male cock).

Gorilla island is also famous !
(The face, looking to the left ? It is kind of difficult to spot this…)

Also, on the boat, we were served food (lunch), where some local people came in the boat to sell some products or food. Fruits such as banana’s, fish, bags, pearls….

This cave is known as the cave of “HEAVEN”, because it is that beautiful.
It is a natural cave, found in 1993. 300m length and 45m in height.
Most parts are lightened up, and is beautiful to walk inside.
It is not cold inside, and no water drips inside, however on rainy days, it does.

The entrance of the cave is manmade,
however this(picture below) is the origin of where the finders came in from.

It is beautiful to see the light coming in from the entrance there.

If you look carefully you may realize the limestones shaped of many things:
a nose of an elephant; Dragon’s face; A man and a lady standing together; mushrooms??!

You can enjoy viewing the limestones in that way; but in fact the limestones are as old as 20 hundred million years.
That’s why some colours of the limestones are turning to black.

On your way out, don't forget to  touch the breast shaped limestone !
Tourists come and touch this saying it is for good luck, however who knows who started it…! (all information was verbally from our tourist)

Cool Asia !(クールアジア!)
