Korea traffic circumstances xxx #1 - All about Cars - 韓国交通事情〜自動車編〜

Since my recent blog topics were introducing food or places, I wanted to go into different fields! 

I tried to write as simple and short as possible this time and I hope you like it ! :)

Korea traffic circumstances xxx ＃１ all about Cars

Let's start ! 

1.Seoul's traffic jam 

The over population in Seoul has been a exclusive influence among cars!!! On the other her hand, since there are not enough parking spaces, people do compromise but park their cars any where they want to, which leads to traffic (jams) problems.

2.The Manners

I have many surprising impressions from Korean car manners. One of the typical examples are when they do not turn on the signal: blinker, and interrupt in other lanes. (Just like you can see in the picture below)

Also, some cars don't pay attention to the lines in the car park. 

3.Popularity of cars and colour deviation

＊Black, White, and Silver

These are the 3 major (80 to 90 percent of all cars) car colors in Korea. 
Korea is longly said to have a somethings relating to the colour white, such as the colour white in the Hanbok (Korean traditional dress) collar as white etc, thus they still have White as a mainstream colour thus white us popular. Black is known as luxury cars, and since Silver is similar to white and is kind of an basic color it is popular too. It is harder to find a colorful car !!(thanks to this, it is easy to catch a taxi(Orange) in Seoul )

Moreover, we see many sedans!!! However, recently suv (sport utility vehicle) 's have increased too.

We hear that imported cars have increased in Korea, however still the majority of cars are the Korean brand cars such as Kia, Hyundai, Remaund, GM(general moters) etc. 

The car trend is so different depending on that country and personally I was surprised in the color deviation. How are cars in your country ?? Please share or comment if you have interesting facts xxx

韓国交通事情〜自動車編〜

1.ソウル都市渋滞

人口が集中しているソウル…！人の数はもちろん、自動車の数にも圧倒されます。その一方で駐車場が足りないため、人の迷惑をかえりみず好き勝手なところに止めることがあるので、渋滞が後を絶ちません。

2.マナー

韓国の自動車マナーには多々驚かされることがあります。
その代表的な例がウィンカーをつけずに割り込み左折をすることです。駐車場でも線を無視していることもあります…。

3.車の種類、色の偏り

＊ 黒、白、シルバー

もともと韓国では白民族と言われているくらい白が基本で、黒は高級車、シルバーは白に近い無難な色としてこの３つが8割9割といっていいほどを占めています。

あと、形はセダンが多い！しかし、最近では suv(sport utility vehicle) も増えてきているみたい。

Kia(キィア)Hyundai(ヒュンダイ) Remaund(ルノーサムソン) GM(ジーエム)general 、双龍ソヨン
最近では輸入車が増えてきていると言われているものの、やはり国産車の数が圧倒的です。

車の形や色は国によって違いますね〜！国によって比較するのも興味深いです😊
